Not at all. The course is designed for enthusiasts and curious people with no prior experience. No license or prior aeronautical knowledge is required.
Where are the courses held?
The ProFly Pilot course is held on-site in Cinisello Balsamo (MI), Via F. Corridoni 12. Aeronautical English phraseology courses can be held on-site or online via Discord or Zoom.
How many people attend the ProFly Pilot course?
The course has a maximum of 8 participants to ensure quality experience. The practical simulator phase is in pairs (60 minutes each).
What are IVAO and VATSIM?
IVAO and VATSIM are the two main worldwide networks of online flying where virtual controllers and pilots interact in real time, just like in real life. The Aeronautical English phraseology course prepares you to communicate correctly on these networks.
What's the difference between Basic, Advanced and Full Aeronautical English phraseology courses?
Basic covers the essential phraseology to start flying online. Advanced is taught by a professional pilot and dives into procedures and complex communications. Full combines both with a 15% saving.
Does the ProFly Pilot course include the simulator session?
Yes! The course is divided into two phases: a 3-hour operational briefing (theory, procedures, meteorology, ATC communications) and a 60-minute practical session at the Boeing 737-800NG simulator in pairs.
